At Zos Kia Gallery, we believe in the power of art to inspire and transform.

Our team works closely with our artists to develop thought-provoking pieces that engage our community.

Our collections are often selected for both private and professional spaces.

Masaki Kazushi

Masaki Kazushi, born in Osaka, Japan in 1961, discovered his passion for painting at the young age of 7. Over the decades, his artistic journey has evolved from the bold spontaneity of abstract expressionism to a refined minimalistic abstraction, infused with elements of traditional Japanese art.

Kazushi’s work is recognized for its intuitive brushwork, connecting contemporary abstraction with ancient symbolism. His paintings often evoke a sense of timelessness, weaving natural elements with the quiet strength of Japanese calligraphy and design. His choice of colors and forms invites viewers to contemplate balance, transience, and the layered meanings found in both nature and cultural heritage.

What sets Kazushi apart is not only his masterful technique but also the deep personal connection he brings to each canvas. For him, painting is both a daily practice and a therapeutic release, driven by a desire to express the unspoken. Whether capturing the serenity of a landscape or the energy of a fleeting moment, his art resonates with clarity and emotion.

Our collaboration with Kazushi began through a family connection, and a shared appreciation for his dedication to art and the unique cultural sensibility he brings to each piece.

Aiko Yamada

Aiko Yamada, born in the culturally rich city of Kyoto in 1979, is an emerging talent in contemporary art.

She specializes in using high-quality Japanese sumi ink, known for its deep tones and smooth application, to create works that combine minimalism with traditional aesthetics.

Deeply influenced by calligraphy and sumi-e, Yamada’s abstract creations evoke a meditative calm. Her bold shapes and primary colors deliver a direct and emotional impact, offering a unique blend of Japanese tradition and modern abstraction.

Introduced to Zos Kia Gallery by her good friend Masaki Kazushi, Yamada has found an ideal platform here to showcase her minimalist yet emotionally resonant works.
